There's considerable uncertainty about High Speed Rail. Land acquisitions and construction in the central valley continue. The project won a recent court case. However, the project is backed by rail advocates the construction industry who want to build the High Speed Rail. At the same time, there could be a ballot measure to divert High Speed Rail funding to other highway projects. I generally do not support High Speed Rail.
